They say good girls don't wear red lips
I've never been one to follow submissive scripts
I'm a solar eclipse
A subtle personification of darkness and light
So bright
I'm unable to be observed by the naked eye
I rise — out of the shadows
With a new definition of woman
I wear red lips, not, for your pleasure
But as a measure of my corporeal freedom
A revelatory renaissance
